How it works

1. Cast Essence Flux by paying its mana cost, blinking Abdel Adrian.
2. Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, returning Archaeomancer and all other cards that were exiled with it to the battlefield.
3. Abdel Adrian and Archaeomancer trigger.
4. Resolve the Archaeomancer trigger, returning Essence Flux from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Holding priority, activate any number of nonland permanents you control by tapping them, adding at least enough mana to cast Essence Flux.
6. Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling Archaeomancer and the mana-producing permanents until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token for each permanent exiled this way.
7. Repeat.

This ingenious engine centers around Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward, whose entry trigger lets you swallow up your own nonland permanents—including Archaeomancer and various mana producers—to flood the board with Soldier tokens. When you cast Essence Flux to blink Abdel Adrian, his temporary departure instantly returns Archaeomancer and those mana sources to the battlefield, with Archaeomancer neatly recycling the very same Essence Flux right back to your hand. By floating mana from your temporarily exiled permanents before they get re-exiled by the next iteration, you create a self-sustaining loop that infinitely repeats these enters-and-leaves-the-battlefield triggers.
