How it works

1. Cast Essence Flux by paying its mana cost, blinking Abdel Adrian.
2. Abdel Adrian leaves and re-enters the battlefield, causing all cards exiled with it to be returned to the battlefield. Abdel Adrian and Repository Skaab's exploit ability trigger.
3. Resolve the Repository Skaab trigger, exploiting another creature and triggering its second ability.
4. Holding priority, activate any number of permanents by tapping them, adding at least the cost of Essence Flux.
5. Resolve the Repository Skaab trigger, returning Essence Flux from your graveyard to your hand.
6. Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling the mana producing permanent(s) and Repository Skaab and creating that many 1/1 Soldier creature tokens.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop centers on Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward, who acts as both the engine and the army by exiling your own permanents when he enters and flooding the board with 1/1 Soldier tokens when he leaves. By using Essence Flux to blink Abdel Adrian, you trigger a cascading wave of enters-the-battlefield and leaves-the-battlefield events that resets everything he's holding. Meanwhile, Repository Skaab sits ready with its exploit ability, happily sacrificing one of those newly minted Soldiers to reach into your graveyard and fish Essence Flux right back to your hand. As long as you have mana-producing permanents swept up in Abdel Adrian's exile cycle to pay for the spell again, you'll generate infinite mana, endless tokens, and limitless triggers.
