How it works

1. Cast Splash Portal by paying its mana cost, blinking Abdel Adrian.
2. Abdel Adrian leaves and re-enters the battlefield, causing all cards exiled with it to be returned to the battlefield. Abdel Adrian and Repository Skaab's exploit ability trigger.
3. Resolve the Repository Skaab trigger, exploiting another creature and triggering its second ability.
4. Holding priority, activate any number of permanents by tapping them, adding at least the cost of Splash Portal.
5. Resolve the Repository Skaab trigger, returning Splash Portal from your graveyard to your hand.
6. Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling the mana producing permanent(s) and Repository Skaab and creating that many 1/1 Soldier creature tokens.
7. Repeat.

This elegant loop centers on Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward repeatedly cycling through exile to continually flood the board with Soldier tokens while refreshing your resources. By casting Splash Portal to blink Abdel Adrian, you reset his enters-the-battlefield trigger to recapture your mana sources alongside Repository Skaab. Repository Skaab's exploit ability then steps in to sacrifice a token and pull Splash Portal right back from your graveyard to your hand. As you repeat this cycle, Abdel Adrian's ever-growing army feeds the exploit cost needed to keep the spell returning, turning the combination into an endless engine of blinking and mana generation.
