Slip On the Ring

How it works

1. Cast Slip On the Ring by paying its mana cost, blinking Abdel Adrian.
2. Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, returning Izzet Chronarch and all other cards that were exiled with it to the battlefield.
3. Abdel Adrian and Izzet Chronarch trigger.
4. Resolve the Izzet Chronarch trigger, returning Slip On the Ring from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Holding priority, activate any number of nonland permanents you control by tapping them, adding at least enough mana to cast Slip On the Ring.
6. Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling Izzet Chronarch and the mana-producing permanents until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token for each permanent exiled this way.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward to continuously reset your board by exiling and returning your supporting permanents whenever he blinks. By using Slip On the Ring to trigger this cycle, Abdel Adrian's entrance lets you swallow up both Izzet Chronarch and your mana-producing permanents all at once. As the Chronarch enters alongside them, its ability reaches into your graveyard to retrieve Slip On the Ring so you can pay to cast it again, feeding the cycle infinitely while generating an endless army of Soldier tokens.
