How it works

1. Cast Flicker of Fate by paying its mana cost, blinking Abdel Adrian.
2. Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, returning Izzet Chronarch and all other cards that were exiled with it to the battlefield.
3. Abdel Adrian and Izzet Chronarch trigger.
4. Resolve the Izzet Chronarch trigger, returning Flicker of Fate from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Holding priority, activate any number of nonland permanents you control by tapping them, adding at least enough mana to cast Flicker of Fate.
6. Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling Izzet Chronarch and the mana-producing permanents until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token for each permanent exiled this way.
7. Repeat.

This charming loop relies on Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward as the engine, using Flicker of Fate to repeatedly reset him and sweep your board into exile. Each time Abdel returns, Izzet Chronarch comes along for the ride to pluck Flicker of Fate right back out of your graveyard, ensuring you never run out of ammo. Meanwhile, any mana-producing permanents you've tucked under Abdel can be tapped for resources right before he swallows them up again, funding the next iteration of the spell while leaving behind an endless army of Soldier tokens.
