How it works

1. Cast Illusionist's Stratagem by paying its mana cost, blinking Abdel Adrian.
2. Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, returning Zealous Lorecaster and all other cards that were exiled with it to the battlefield.
3. Abdel Adrian and Zealous Lorecaster trigger.
4. Resolve the Zealous Lorecaster trigger, returning Illusionist's Stratagem from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Holding priority, activate any number of nonland permanents you control by tapping them, adding at least enough mana to cast Illusionist's Stratagem.
6. Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling Zealous Lorecaster and the mana-producing permanents until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token for each permanent exiled this way.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop hinges on recycling Illusionist's Stratagem to repeatedly blink Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward, leveraging his ability to temporarily swallow your own board and flood the field with 1/1 Soldier tokens. Each time Abdel Adrian re-enters the battlefield, he allows you to safety-net your mana sources alongside Zealous Lorecaster, whose enter-the-battlefield trigger is the crucial engine that plucks Illusionist's Stratagem right back out of your graveyard and into your hand. By tapping those mana-producing permanents for resources before Abdel Adrian devours them anew, you generate an endless loop of magical energy and incremental card draw.
