How it works

1. Cast Flicker by paying its mana cost, blinking Abdel Adrian.
2. Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, returning Shipwreck Dowser and all other cards that were exiled with it to the battlefield.
3. Abdel Adrian and Shipwreck Dowser trigger.
4. Resolve the Shipwreck Dowser trigger, returning Flicker from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Holding priority, activate any number of nonland permanents you control by tapping them, adding at least enough mana to cast Flicker.
6. Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling Shipwreck Dowser and the mana-producing permanents until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token for each permanent exiled this way.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop transforms a humble spell and a couple of trusty companions into an engine of endless value. By casting Flicker on Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward, you trigger a cascade where Abdel exits and re-enters the battlefield, letting you exile and continuously refresh your board of mana-producing permanents along with Shipwreck Dowser. Every time Shipwreck Dowser drops back onto the battlefield, its enter-the-battlefield ability plucks Flicker right back out of your graveyard, ready to be cast again. This endless cycle not only pumps out an infinite army of Soldier tokens and massive Prowess-driven power boosts for Shipwreck Dowser, but it also endlessly triggers any enter-the-battlefield and magecraft abilities you care to bring to the table.
