How it works

1. Cast Flicker of Fate by paying its mana cost, blinking Abdel Adrian.
2. Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, returning Timeless Witness and all other cards that were exiled with it to the battlefield.
3. Abdel Adrian and Timeless Witness trigger.
4. Resolve the Timeless Witness trigger, returning Flicker of Fate from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Holding priority, activate any number of nonland permanents you control by tapping them, adding at least enough mana to cast Flicker of Fate.
6. Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling Timeless Witness and the mana-producing permanents until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token for each permanent exiled this way.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward into an infinite army while recycling your spells through recursive resource generation. By casting Flicker of Fate to blink Abdel Adrian, you reset his enter-the-battlefield trigger to swallow up both mana-producing permanents and Timeless Witness. When Timeless Witness returns to the battlefield alongside them, its own trigger dutifully fishes Flicker of Fate right back out of your graveyard and into your hand, letting you repeat the cycle endlessly to flood the board with Soldier tokens and generate limitless energy.
