How it works

1. Cast Flicker of Fate by paying its mana cost, blinking Abdel Adrian.
2. Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, returning Donnie & April and all other cards that were exiled with it to the battlefield.
3. Abdel Adrian and Donnie & April trigger.
4. Resolve the Donnie & April trigger, returning Flicker of Fate from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Holding priority, activate any number of nonland permanents you control by tapping them, adding at least enough mana to cast Flicker of Fate.
6. Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling Donnie & April and the mana-producing permanents until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token for each permanent exiled this way.
7. Repeat.

This charming loop relies on Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward to continuously swallow and regurgitate your other permanents, fueled initially by casting Flicker of Fate to kickstart the blink cycle. Each time Abdel Adrian re-enters the battlefield, he exiles Donnie & April, Adorkable Duo alongside any mana-producing nonlands you control, leaving behind an army of 1/1 Soldier tokens in the process. When Donnie & April return to the field, their triggered ability dives into your graveyard to pluck out that very same Flicker of Fate, putting it right back into your hand so you can repeat the entire dazzling process endlessly.
