How it works

1. Cast Displace by paying its mana cost, blinking Abdel Adrian.
2. Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, returning Timeless Witness and all other cards that were exiled with it to the battlefield.
3. Abdel Adrian and Timeless Witness trigger.
4. Resolve the Timeless Witness trigger, returning Displace from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Holding priority, activate any number of nonland permanents you control by tapping them, adding at least enough mana to cast Displace.
6. Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling Timeless Witness and the mana-producing permanents until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token for each permanent exiled this way.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward into an engine of endless rebirth by using Displace to repeatedly blink the commander alongside Timeless Witness. Each cycle lets Timeless Witness rescue Displace right back from your graveyard to your hand, while Abdel Adrian's entrance refreshes your mana-producing permanents and floods the board with a growing army of 1/1 Soldier tokens. Because Abdel Adrian exiles your lands and rocks only to return them untapped on each iteration, you get an infinite source of mana, storm count, and triggers to overwhelm your opponents in formats like Commander and Legacy.
