How it works

  1. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Abdel Adrian, adding 1.
  2. Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, causing all cards exiled with it to return to the battlefield under their owner's control.
  3. Nim Deathmantle triggers, causing you to pay 4 to return Abdel Adrian from your graveyard to the battlefield, and attach Nim Deathmantle to it.
  4. Abdel Adrian enters the battlefield, exiling four other nonland permanents you control until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, and creating four 1/1 Soldier creature tokens.
  5. Activate Phyrexian Altar three times by sacrificing three Soldiers, adding 3.
  6. Repeat.
