How it works

1. Cast Splash Portal by paying its mana cost, blinking Abdel Adrian.
2. Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, returning Shipwreck Dowser and all other cards that were exiled with it to the battlefield.
3. Abdel Adrian and Shipwreck Dowser trigger.
4. Resolve the Shipwreck Dowser trigger, returning Splash Portal from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Holding priority, activate any number of nonland permanents you control by tapping them, adding at least enough mana to cast Splash Portal.
6. Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling Shipwreck Dowser and the mana-producing permanents until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token for each permanent exiled this way.
7. Repeat.

This loop relies on the constant cycling of Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward in and out of exile to reset your board state, with Splash Portal serving as the engine that keeps the blinking going. Every time Shipwreck Dowser re-enters the battlefield alongside Abdel Adrian, its ability plucks Splash Portal right back out of your graveyard so you can cast it again. Meanwhile, Abdel Adrian's enter-the-battlefield trigger temporarily whisks away your mana-producing permanents and Shipwreck Dowser itself, letting you tap them for mana, refresh them upon return, and flood the board with an endless army of 1/1 Soldier tokens.
