How it works

1. Cast Essence Flux by paying its mana cost, blinking Abdel Adrian.
2. Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, returning Donnie & April and all other cards that were exiled with it to the battlefield.
3. Abdel Adrian and Donnie & April trigger.
4. Resolve the Donnie & April trigger, returning Essence Flux from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Holding priority, activate any number of nonland permanents you control by tapping them, adding at least enough mana to cast Essence Flux.
6. Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling Donnie & April and the mana-producing permanents until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token for each permanent exiled this way.
7. Repeat.

This brilliant loop relies on Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward repeatedly blinking in and out of play to generate an overwhelming wave of value. When you cast Essence Flux to exile Abdel Adrian, his departure triggers the return of Donnie & April, Adorkable Duo, whose entry ability conveniently plucks Essence Flux right back out of your graveyard and into your hand. Meanwhile, Abdel Adrian's own entrance allows you to safely stash Donnie & April and your other nonland permanents in exile, creating an army of 1/1 Soldier tokens in the process.
