How it works

1. Cast Abdel Adrian by paying 4.
2. When Abdel Adrian enters, it triggers, exiling Rescue Skiff until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token.
3. Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Abdel Adrian
4. Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, causing Rescue Skiff to return to the battlefield from exile.
5. When Rescue Skiff enters, it triggers, returning Abdel Adrian from your graveyard to the battlefield.
6. When Abdel Adrian enters, it triggers, exiling Rescue Skiff until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token.
7. Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability from step 3.
8. Repeat from step 3.

This elegant loop revolves around an infinite recursion between Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward and Rescue Skiff, bridged by the sacrifice outlet Altar of Dementia. When Abdel Adrian enters the battlefield, he exiles the Rescue Skiff, which then immediately returns to the battlefield whenever Abdel Adrian is sacrificed to the Altar.
