How it works

1. Cast Splash Portal by paying its mana cost, blinking Abdel Adrian.
2. Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, returning Pinnacle Monk and all other cards that were exiled with it to the battlefield.
3. Abdel Adrian and Pinnacle Monk trigger.
4. Resolve the Pinnacle Monk trigger, returning Splash Portal from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Holding priority, activate any number of nonland permanents you control by tapping them, adding at least enough mana to cast Splash Portal.
6. Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling Pinnacle Monk and the mana-producing permanents until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token for each permanent exiled this way.
7. Repeat.

This delightful loop turns the humble act of blinking into a self-sustaining engine, centered around Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward and his ability to swallow up your own nonland permanents to flood the board with Soldier tokens. By targeting Abdel Adrian with Splash Portal, you send him away and instantly bring him—and whatever he was holding—right back. When Pinnacle Monk enters the battlefield alongside him, its triggered ability reaches into your graveyard to pluck Splash Portal right back to your hand, ready to cast all over again. Along the way, any mana-producing permanents swept up in Abdel Adrian's exile zone can be tapped for mana before they vanish, perfectly funding the next iteration of the loop while leaving behind an endless army of tokens.
