How it works

1. Cast Planar Incision by paying its mana cost, blinking Abdel Adrian.
2. Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, returning Skullwinder and all other cards that were exiled with it to the battlefield.
3. Abdel Adrian and Skullwinder trigger.
4. Resolve the Skullwinder trigger, returning Planar Incision from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Holding priority, activate any number of nonland permanents you control by tapping them, adding at least enough mana to cast Planar Incision.
6. Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling Skullwinder and the mana-producing permanents until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token for each permanent exiled this way.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop centers on Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward, whose entry trigger allows you to stockpile your mana-producing permanents and Skullwinder into exile while leaving behind a growing army of Soldier tokens. By using Planar Incision to blink Abdel Adrian, you reset his exile trigger and immediately return Skullwinder to the battlefield. Skullwinder's entry ability then reaches into your graveyard to retrieve Planar Incision, ensuring you always have the spell ready to keep the chain going.
