How it works

1. Cast Planar Incision by paying its mana cost, blinking Abdel Adrian.
2. Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, returning Scrivener and all other cards that were exiled with it to the battlefield.
3. Abdel Adrian and Scrivener trigger.
4. Resolve the Scrivener trigger, returning Planar Incision from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Holding priority, activate any number of nonland permanents you control by tapping them, adding at least enough mana to cast Planar Incision.
6. Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling Scrivener and the mana-producing permanents until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token for each permanent exiled this way.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop transforms a simple blink spell into an infinite engine by leveraging Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward as a permanent-exiling machine that floods your board with Soldier tokens. Every time Abdel Adrian re-enters the battlefield, he sweeps up your mana sources alongside Scrivener, whose entry trigger fishes Planar Incision right back out of your graveyard to cast it all over again. The mana-producing permanents you tap along the way are safely refreshed by Abdel Adrian's exile effect, fueling the continuous cycle while leaving behind an unstoppable army of tokens.
