How it works

1. Cast Planar Incision by paying its mana cost, blinking Abdel Adrian.
2. Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, returning Izzet Chronarch and all other cards that were exiled with it to the battlefield.
3. Abdel Adrian and Izzet Chronarch trigger.
4. Resolve the Izzet Chronarch trigger, returning Planar Incision from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Holding priority, activate any number of nonland permanents you control by tapping them, adding at least enough mana to cast Planar Incision.
6. Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling Izzet Chronarch and the mana-producing permanents until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token for each permanent exiled this way.
7. Repeat.

This brilliant loop relies on Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward cycling continuously between exile and the battlefield to fuel an engine of relentless value. Each time Abdel Adrian re-enters, he exiles Izzet Chronarch alongside any mana-producing permanents you control, which lets Izzet Chronarch return Planar Incision from your graveyard right back to your hand. Casting Planar Incision restarts the cycle by blinking Abdel Adrian, while tapping your other permanents for mana before they get exiled pays for the spell. This endless repetition allows you to flood the board with an infinite army of Soldier tokens while endlessly triggering enter-the-battlefield and leave-the-battlefield abilities.
