How it works

1. Cast Planar Incision by paying its mana cost, blinking Abdel Adrian.
2. Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, returning Donnie & April and all other cards that were exiled with it to the battlefield.
3. Abdel Adrian and Donnie & April trigger.
4. Resolve the Donnie & April trigger, returning Planar Incision from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Holding priority, activate any number of nonland permanents you control by tapping them, adding at least enough mana to cast Planar Incision.
6. Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling Donnie & April and the mana-producing permanents until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token for each permanent exiled this way.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward into a self-sustaining blinking engine by leveraging Planar Incision to repeatedly trigger his exile-and-return ability. Each cycle resets the battlefield just enough to let Donnie & April, Adorkable Duo fetch Planar Incision right back from your graveyard while you float mana from any other permanents caught in Abdel Adrian's sweeping grasp. The result is an infinite cascade of enter-and-leave-the-battlefield triggers, flooding the board with endless Soldier tokens and fueling your storm count to astronomical heights.
