How it works

1. Cast Planar Incision by paying its mana cost, blinking Abdel Adrian.
2. Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, returning Zealous Lorecaster and all other cards that were exiled with it to the battlefield.
3. Abdel Adrian and Zealous Lorecaster trigger.
4. Resolve the Zealous Lorecaster trigger, returning Planar Incision from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Holding priority, activate any number of nonland permanents you control by tapping them, adding at least enough mana to cast Planar Incision.
6. Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling Zealous Lorecaster and the mana-producing permanents until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token for each permanent exiled this way.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward into a permanent-blinking engine by using Planar Incision to repeatedly trigger his entry and leave-the-battlefield abilities. As Abdel flickers in and out, he continuously re-establishes his exile zone to feed your token army while letting Zealous Lorecaster catch Planar Incision from your graveyard every single iteration. By tapping your other mana-producing permanents in response to Abdel's trigger, you can easily sustain the mana cost to recast the spell, generating an endless cascade of entries, token creature creation, and storm count.
