How it works

1. Cast Planar Incision by paying its mana cost, blinking Abdel Adrian.
2. Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, returning Eternal Witness and all other cards that were exiled with it to the battlefield.
3. Abdel Adrian and Eternal Witness trigger.
4. Resolve the Eternal Witness trigger, returning Planar Incision from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Holding priority, activate any number of nonland permanents you control by tapping them, adding at least enough mana to cast Planar Incision.
6. Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling Eternal Witness and the mana-producing permanents until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token for each permanent exiled this way.
7. Repeat.

This ingenious loop turns Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward into a relentless blink engine by leveraging Planar Incision to repeatedly reset the battlefield. Each cycle, Abdel's entry trigger exiles your mana sources and Eternal Witness, which dutifully returns Planar Incision from your graveyard back to your hand for the next iteration. As this dance repeats, Abdel floods your board with an endless army of 1/1 Soldier creature tokens while generating boundless enter-the-battlefield, leave-the-battlefield, and magecraft triggers.
