How it works

1. Cast Momentary Blink by paying its mana cost, blinking Abdel Adrian.
2. Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, returning Scholar of the Ages and all other cards that were exiled with it to the battlefield.
3. Abdel Adrian and Scholar of the Ages trigger.
4. Resolve the Scholar of the Ages trigger, returning Momentary Blink from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Holding priority, activate any number of nonland permanents you control by tapping them, adding at least enough mana to cast Momentary Blink.
6. Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling Scholar of the Ages and the mana-producing permanents until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token for each permanent exiled this way.
7. Repeat.

This elegant loop uses Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward as a blinking engine that repeatedly resets your board, while Scholar of the Ages acts as the recursive glue by fishing your spells back out of the graveyard. By casting Momentary Blink to exile Abdel Adrian, you trigger a cascade where Scholar of the Ages returns that very same Momentary Blink right back to your hand. Meanwhile, Abdel Adrian's enter-the-battlefield trigger devours your mana-producing permanents and spits out an army of 1/1 Soldier tokens, generating infinite mana along the way to fund the process indefinitely.
