How it works

1. Cast Siren's Ruse by paying its mana cost, blinking Abdel Adrian.
2. Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, returning Scholar of the Ages and all other cards that were exiled with it to the battlefield.
3. Abdel Adrian and Scholar of the Ages trigger.
4. Resolve the Scholar of the Ages trigger, returning Siren's Ruse from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Holding priority, activate any number of nonland permanents you control by tapping them, adding at least enough mana to cast Siren's Ruse.
6. Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling Scholar of the Ages and the mana-producing permanents until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token for each permanent exiled this way.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop is anchored by Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward, whose entry triggers the mass exile of your other permanents to flood the board with Soldier tokens, while simultaneously setting up the pieces you need to keep the cycle going. By casting Siren's Ruse to blink Abdel Adrian, you trigger the return of Scholar of the Ages, whose own entry brings Siren's Ruse right back from your graveyard to your hand. As Abdel Adrian re-enters to swallow your board again, you can float all the necessary mana from any tapped permanents caught in the crossfire to pay for the next Siren's Ruse, generating infinite fodder and effects.
