How it works

1. Cast Splash Portal by paying its mana cost, blinking Abdel Adrian.
2. Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, returning Eternal Witness and all other cards that were exiled with it to the battlefield.
3. Abdel Adrian and Eternal Witness trigger.
4. Resolve the Eternal Witness trigger, returning Splash Portal from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Holding priority, activate any number of nonland permanents you control by tapping them, adding at least enough mana to cast Splash Portal.
6. Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling Eternal Witness and the mana-producing permanents until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token for each permanent exiled this way.
7. Repeat.

This elegant loop centers on casting Splash Portal to blink Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward, whose entry triggers safely stash away your board while generating a growing army of 1/1 Soldier tokens. Because Eternal Witness enters the battlefield alongside Abdel Adrian, it immediately plucks Splash Portal right back out of your graveyard and into your hand, ready to be recast. Meanwhile, Abdel Adrian's exile effect temporarily shelters your mana-producing permanents, letting you tap them for mana before they vanish so you can endlessly repeat the cycle.
