How it works

1. Cast Against All Odds by paying its mana cost, blinking Abdel Adrian.
2. Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, returning Ardent Elementalist and all other cards that were exiled with it to the battlefield.
3. Abdel Adrian and Ardent Elementalist trigger.
4. Resolve the Ardent Elementalist trigger, returning Against All Odds from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Holding priority, activate any number of nonland permanents you control by tapping them, adding at least enough mana to cast Against All Odds.
6. Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling Ardent Elementalist and the mana-producing permanents until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token for each permanent exiled this way.
7. Repeat.

This loop turns a simple blink spell into an unstoppable engine by leveraging the recursive power of Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward and Ardent Elementalist. When you cast Against All Odds to exile and return Abdel Adrian, his entry trigger swallows up your mana-producing permanents and Ardent Elementalist right back into exile, while leaving behind a growing army of Soldier tokens. As Ardent Elementalist re-enters alongside them, its triggered ability scoops Against All Odds right back out of your graveyard to hand, fully refunded by the mana your blinked permanents generate in the process.
