How it works
- Cast Against All Odds by paying its mana cost, blinking Abdel Adrian.
- Abdel Adrian leaves and re-enters the battlefield, causing all cards exiled with it to be returned to the battlefield. Abdel Adrian and Repository Skaab's exploit ability trigger.
- Resolve the Repository Skaab trigger, exploiting another creature and triggering its second ability.
- Holding priority, activate any number of permanents by tapping them, adding at least the cost of Against All Odds.
- Resolve the Repository Skaab trigger, returning Against All Odds from your graveyard to your hand.
- Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling the mana producing permanent(s) and Repository Skaab and creating that many 1/1 Soldier creature tokens.
- Repeat.
This intricate loop relies on Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward acting as both the engine and the army, repeatedly cycling in and out of exile to reset your board. By using Against All Odds to blink the Gorion's Ward, you trigger its enter-the-battlefield ability to swallow up your mana sources and Repository Skaab. The Skaab's exploit ability—fueled by the Soldier tokens created along the way—then lets you harvest Against All Odds right back from your graveyard. The result is a self-sustaining cascade that generates boundless mana, endless tokens, and infinite triggers from every permanent caught in the loop.
