How it works

1. Cast Against All Odds by paying its mana cost, blinking Abdel Adrian.
2. Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, returning Donnie & April and all other cards that were exiled with it to the battlefield.
3. Abdel Adrian and Donnie & April trigger.
4. Resolve the Donnie & April trigger, returning Against All Odds from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Holding priority, activate any number of nonland permanents you control by tapping them, adding at least enough mana to cast Against All Odds.
6. Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling Donnie & April and the mana-producing permanents until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token for each permanent exiled this way.
7. Repeat.

This looping marvel hinges on the recursive power of Against All Odds to constantly reset your board by blinking Abdel Adrian. Each time Abdel Adrian re-enters, it swallows up your mana-producing permanents along with Donnie & April, creating an army of Soldier tokens while waiting for the right moment to release them. When Donnie & April hit the battlefield, their ability effortlessly plucks Against All Odds right back out of your graveyard and into your hand, ready to restart the cycle.
