How it works

1. Cast Abdel Adrian by paying 4.
2. When Abdel Adrian enters, it triggers, exiling Rescue Skiff until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token.
3. Activate Woe Strider by sacrificing Abdel Adrian
4. Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, causing Rescue Skiff to return to the battlefield from exile.
5. When Rescue Skiff enters, it triggers, returning Abdel Adrian from your graveyard to the battlefield.
6. When Abdel Adrian enters, it triggers, exiling Rescue Skiff until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token.
7. Resolve the Woe Strider ability from step 3.
8. Repeat from step 3.

This brilliant loop relies on the constant recycling of Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward to repeatedly trigger its own enter-the-battlefield ability. When Abdel enters, it exiles Rescue Skiff, which is then immediately sent back to the battlefield when you sacrifice Abdel to Woe Strider's sacrifice outlet. The returning Rescue Skiff's own entry trigger instantly plucks Abdel Adrian right back out of your graveyard, letting the cycle begin anew. Along the way, Woe Strider provides a reliable sacrifice mechanism while feeding you endless Soldier creature tokens and scries from Abdel Adrian's repeated entrances.
