How it works
- Cast Technomancer by paying 5.
- When Technomancer enters, it triggers, causing you to mill three cards and return Phyrexian Metamorph from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of Technomancer.
- When Phyrexian Metamorph enters, it triggers. Holding priority, activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Phyrexian Metamorph.
- Resolve the Phyrexian Metamorph trigger, causing you to mill three cards and return Phyrexian Metamorph from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of Technomancer.
- Repeat from step 3.
This loop turns a single casting of Technomancer into an endless cycle of resurrection by leveraging Phyrexian Metamorph's ability to enter the battlefield as a copy of the original creature. Because the copied Technomancer's entrance triggers its own graveyard-return ability, you can immediately feed the copying Metamorph to Phyrexian Altar to generate mana before the trigger even resolves. Repeating this sequence loops the Metamorph seamlessly between the graveyard and the battlefield, fueling infinite sacrifice triggers and supplying all the colored mana you could ever need.
