How it works
- Cast Technomancer by paying 5.
- When Technomancer enters, it triggers, causing you to mill three cards and return Phyrexian Metamorph from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of Technomancer.
- When Phyrexian Metamorph enters, it triggers. Holding priority, activate Krark-Clan Ironworks by sacrificing Phyrexian Metamorph.
- Resolve the Phyrexian Metamorph trigger, causing you to mill three cards and return Phyrexian Metamorph from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of Technomancer.
- Repeat from step 3.
This clever loop relies on Technomancer entering the battlefield to recur a fallen copy of itself, setting up a recursive engine fueled by Krark-Clan Ironworks. By using Phyrexian Metamorph to enter as a copy of Technomancer, you generate a continuous cycle of enters-the-battlefield and sacrifice triggers that feeds the Ironworks for a surplus of colorless mana. Because Phyrexian Metamorph can instantly sacrifice itself in response to its own trigger, the loop sustains itself seamlessly while milling your library and churning through your graveyard.
