How it works
- Cast Technomancer by paying 5.
- When Technomancer enters, it triggers, causing you to mill three cards and return Phyrexian Metamorph from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of Technomancer.
- When Phyrexian Metamorph enters, it triggers. Holding priority, activate Ravenous Intruder by sacrificing Phyrexian Metamorph.
- Resolve the Phyrexian Metamorph trigger, causing you to mill three cards and return Phyrexian Metamorph from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of Technomancer.
- Repeat from step 3.
This loop transforms Technomancer's entrance into a self-sustaining engine by letting a copied incarnation recur itself indefinitely. As Phyrexian Metamorph enters as a copy of Technomancer, its own ETB trigger goes on the stack, allowing Ravenous Intruder to step in and sacrifice the Metamorph before that trigger even resolves. Because Phyrexian Metamorph is now safely in the graveyard, the resolving ETB trigger pulls it right back to the battlefield as another Technomancer ready to repeat the cycle. This relentless loop mills your library and fuels Ravenous Intruder into an infinitely massive threat, all while churning out an endless stream of artifact and creature sacrifices.
