How it works
- Cast Technomancer by paying 5.
- When Technomancer enters, it triggers, causing you to mill three cards and return Phyrexian Metamorph from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of Technomancer.
- When Phyrexian Metamorph enters, it triggers. Holding priority, activate Umbral Collar Zealot by sacrificing Phyrexian Metamorph.
- Resolve the Phyrexian Metamorph trigger, causing you to mill three cards and return Phyrexian Metamorph from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of Technomancer.
- Repeat from step 3.
This recursive loop leverages Technomancer's enter-the-battlefield ability to pull Phyrexian Metamorph straight from the graveyard by copying the original creature itself. While the Metamorph's own ETB trigger is sitting on the stack, you use Umbral Collar Zealot to sacrifice it, neatly feeding the graveyard while setting up the exact loop needed to trigger these effects endlessly. Because Metamorph copies Technomancer's exact specifications upon re-entry, the cycle is fully self-sustaining, allowing you to churn through your entire library and graveyard while generating boundless sacrifice and death triggers.
