How it works

  1. At the beginning of each upkeep, Awakening and Sands of Time trigger.
  2. If it is your turn, resolve the Sands of Time trigger, untapping each tapped permanent and tapping each untapped permanent.
  3. Resolve the Awakening trigger, untapping all creatures and lands.
  4. If it is not your turn, resolve the Sands of Time trigger, untapping each tapped permanent and tapping each untapped permanent.
  5. Repeat during each turn.
