How it works
- Deal combat damage to an opponent using Obeka. Obeka triggers, causing you to get that many upkeep steps after this one.
- Move to your first extra upkeep. At the beginning of that upkeep, Braid of Fire triggers, putting an age counter on it and adding for each age counter on it.
- Repeat step 2 for each other upkeep step.
- During your postcombat main phase, activate Aggravated Assault by paying 3, causing you to untap all creatures you control and get an additional combat and main phase after this one.
- Repeat.
This explosive engine starts when Obeka, Splitter of Seconds connects with an opponent to generate a massive stack of additional upkeep steps. Thanks to Electro, Assaulting Battery, the red mana generated by Braid of Fire across all those proliferating upkeep steps is safely banked instead of vanishing as phases end. You can then channel that accumulated reservoir of mana into Aggravated Assault, repeatedly untapping your creatures and chaining endless combat phases to seal the victory.
