How it works
- Declare Sun Warriors as an attacker, triggering its ability, adding an amount of equal to the number of creatures you control.
- Move to your postcombat main phase. You will not lose the mana due to Ashling.
- Activate Aggravated Assault by paying 3, causing you to untap all creatures you control and to get an additional combat and main phase after this one.
- Repeat.
This fiery loop is built around the scaling mana production of Sun Warriors, which rewards a wide board of creatures by generating a surge of red mana whenever it attacks. Because Ashling, Flame Dancer ensures your unspent red mana sticks around between steps and phases, that combat-generated mana survives right into your postcombat main phase. Once there, you can pour it directly into Aggravated Assault to untap your board and grant yourself an extra combat phase to do it all over again.
