How it works

1. Cast The Last Agni Kai by paying 1.
2. Declare Firebending Student as an attacker, triggering its ability, adding an amount of equal to its power.
3. Move to your postcombat main phase. You will not lose the mana due to The Last Agni Kai.
4. Activate Aggravated Assault by paying 3, causing you to untap all creatures you control and to get an additional combat and main phase after this one.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This explosive combination harnesses The Last Agni Kai to bypass the usual mana drain at the end of combat, letting your accumulated red energy persist across phases. As Firebending Student charges into battle, its prowess and power-scaling firebending mechanic generate a massive pool of red mana with every single attack. You then channel that surplus into Aggravated Assault, paying its hefty activation cost to untap your forces and grant you an endless succession of additional combat phases.
