How it works

1. Declare Firebending Student as an attacker, triggering its ability, adding an amount of equal to its power.
2. Move to your postcombat main phase. You will not lose the mana due to Ozai.
3. Activate Aggravated Assault by paying 3, causing you to untap all creatures you control and to get an additional combat and main phase after this one.
4. Repeat.

This explosive chain relies on generating more mana from combat than Aggravated Assault demands to keep the engine running indefinitely. As Ozai, the Phoenix King sits in play, his crucial passive ability ensures that any unspent mana you hold instead shifts safely into red mana rather than disappearing as phases transition. That preserved pool is then fueled by Firebending Student, whose attack triggers provide a massive influx of red mana scaling directly with its growing power. Once you enter your postcombat main phase with that reservoir secured, you simply pour the required mana into Aggravated Assault to untap your attackers and seize endless additional combat steps.
