How it works

1. Declare Smaug as an attacker, triggering its ability, dealing at least 5 damage to Raphael.
2. Raphael triggers, adding at least .
3. Move to your postcombat main phase.
4. Activate Aggravated Assault by paying 3, causing you to untap all creatures you control and get an additional combat and main phase after this one.
5. Repeat

This clever loop turns Smaug the Magnificent into a self-contained artillery piece by using his own attack trigger to shoot Raphael, Ninja Destroyer for lethal damage. Because Raphael's enrage ability converts that self-inflicted damage into a massive windfall of red mana, you more than easily fund the activation cost of Aggravated Assault. With the enchantment granting you endless additional combat phases and untapping both of your dragons along the way, Smaug the Magnificent can simply charge in repeatedly to incinerate any target the table holds.
