How it works

1. Cast the artifact by paying 0.
2. Toph, Hardheaded Teacher triggers, earthbending Izzet Boilerworks.
3. Resolve the artifact spell.
4. Activate Thermopod by sacrificing Izzet Boilerworks.
5. When Izzet Boilerworks dies, Toph, Hardheaded Teach triggers, returning Izzet Boilerworks from your graveyard to the battlefield tapped.
6. When Izzet Boilerworks enters, it triggers, returning the artifact cast in step 1 from the battlefield to your hand, as it's a land due to Toph, the First Metalbender.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop turns your zero-mana artifacts into a perpetual engine by relying on Toph, the First Metalbender to continuously reclassify them as lands. Because they are lands, when Thermopod sacrifices them for red mana, their death triggers feed right back into Toph, Hardheaded Teacher to pull them back onto the battlefield. Once there, an incoming Izzet Boilerworks fulfills its own entry requirement by bouncing your freshly cast artifact right back to your hand, resetting the loop for infinite red mana and endless sacrifice triggers.
