How it works

1. Cast Trickery Charm by paying , causing Trazyn to become a Sliver until end of turn.
2. Activate Trazyn using Basalt Monolith's ability by tapping it, adding CCC
3. Activate Trazyn by paying 2, untapping it.
4. Repeat from step 2.

This clever brewing trick turns your graveyard into a powerhouse by letting Trazyn the Infinite inherit the activated abilities of any artifact cards resting there, most notably the mana-producing and self-untapping engine of Basalt Monolith. Because Trazyn's innate text doesn't make it a Sliver, a clever casting of Trickery Charm grants it the vital creature type needed to unlock Scuttling Sliver's native untap ability. Once Trazyn wears that Sliver mantle, you can tap the Monolith power for three colorless mana, spend a portion of it to untap via the Sliver's ability, and repeat the loop to generate an infinite supply of colorless mana.
