How it works

1. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Cultivator of Blades.
2. When Cultivator of Blades dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
3. When Cultivator of Blades enters, its fabricate ability triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on the transforming double-faced card Eirdu, Carrier of Dawn // Isilu, Carrier of Twilight to grant persistent immortality to your team through its Isilu, Carrier of Twilight face. By sacrificing Cultivator of Blades to Phyrexian Altar, you generate a mana while triggering the creature's newly acquired persist ability. When Cultivator of Blades returns to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter, its fabricate ability triggers to place a +1/+1 counter on it; state-based actions cause the opposing counters to cancel each other out cleanly, resetting its safety net and allowing the cycle to repeat indefinitely for infinite sacrifice and mana-producing triggers.
