How it works

1. Cast the Insect from your hand or graveyard by paying 0 due to Aluren.
2. Activate Yahenni by sacrificing the Insect.
3. When the Insect dies, Zask triggers.
4. Holding priority, cast the Insect from your graveyard by paying 0 due to Aluren.
5. Resolve the Zask ability, causing you to mill two cards.
6. Resolve the Yahenni ability.
7. Repeat from step 2.

This clever engine uses **Aluren** to eliminate the mana cost of your creatures, allowing you to cast an Insect—such as one enabled by **Zask, Skittering Swarmlord**—straight from your hand or graveyard for free. Once on the battlefield, you can feed that creature to **Yahenni, Undying Partisan**, whose sacrifice ability also grants it crucial protection while triggering Zask's ability to mill your library and tuck the dead Insect. By responding to Zask's trigger by recasting the Insect with **Aluren**'s flash permission, you create a continuous loop of sacrifices and recursion.
