How it works

1. Cast the Insect from your hand or graveyard by paying 0 due to Aluren.
2. Activate Umbral Collar Zealot by sacrificing the Insect.
3. When the Insect dies, Zask triggers.
4. Holding priority, cast the Insect from your graveyard by paying 0 due to Aluren.
5. Resolve the Zask ability, causing you to mill two cards.
6. Resolve the Umbral Collar Zealot ability.
7. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop relies on Zask, Skittering Swarmlord to turn your graveyard into an extension of your hand for low-cost creepy-crawlies, letting you repeatedly cast an eligible Insect for free thanks to Aluren's sweeping flash and cost-reduction effect. When Umbral Collar Zealot demands a sacrifice, you gladly feed it the Insect, which immediately triggers Zask's replacement/trigger clause to tuck the creature and mill away more resources. By cleverly floating the Zask trigger and casting the Insect from the graveyard again before it resolves, you continuously feed the engine to stack up infinite death triggers, sacrifice triggers, and self-mill until you unearth whatever game-ending finisher you need.
