How it works

1. Activate Skirk Prospector by sacrificing Murderous Redcap, adding .
2. When Murderous Redcap dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
3. When Murderous Redcap enters the battlefield, it triggers, dealing damage equal to its power to any target.
4. Activate Hexavus' second ability by paying 1 and removing the -1/-1 counter from Murderous Redcap, putting a +1/+1 counter on Hexavus.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop turns the natural synergy of Goblins and modular tinkering into an endless engine of destruction. Skirk Prospector provides the outlet to sacrifice Murderous Redcap, whose persist ability would normally stall out after bringing it back with a -1/-1 counter. However, Hexavus steps in with its activated ability to pluck that hindering -1/-1 counter right off the Redcap, simultaneously fueling Hexavus with a +1/+1 counter. As Murderous Redcap repeatedly enters the battlefield, its triggered ability deals infinite damage to any target while endlessly repeating the sacrifice loop.
