How it works

1. Activate Skirk Prospector by sacrificing it, adding .
2. When Skirk Prospector dies, Mortuary triggers, putting Skirk Prospector on top of your library from your graveyard.
3. Cast Skirk Prospector from the top of your library by paying .
4. Repeat.

This ingenious loop turns a humble Goblin into a self-sustaining engine by letting you repeatedly sacrifice Skirk Prospector to its own ability for red mana. Whenever it hits the graveyard, Mortuary's static trigger steps in to seamlessly recycle it right back to the top of your library. From there, Magus of the Future breaks the usual zone restrictions by letting you cast the Prospector directly off the top of your library, funding each iteration with the very mana the sacrifice produced.
