How it works

1. Activate Skirk Prospector by sacrificing it.
2. When Skirk Prospector dies, Mortuary and Vindictive Vampire trigger.
3. Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting Skirk Prospector from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
4. Resolve the Vindictive Vampire trigger, causing you to gain 1 life and dealing 1 damage to each opponent.
5. Cast Skirk Prospector from the top of your library by paying 1 life.
6. Repeat.

This loop turns a humble Goblin into an unstoppable engine of life-draining devastation. By leveraging Bolas's Citadel, you bypass traditional mana costs entirely, paying life instead while Skirk Prospector sacrifices itself for red mana. Whenever that sacrifice happens, Mortuary steps in to neatly intercept the Goblin from your graveyard and place it right back on top of your library, making it immediately available to be cast once more off the Citadel. Meanwhile, Vindictive Vampire watches the endless procession of dying creatures and converts each loop into guaranteed life gain and direct damage to your opponents, closing out the game in a flurry of recursive sacrifices.
