How it works

1. Activate Skirk Prospector by sacrificing Squee, adding .
2. Cast Squee from your graveyard by paying .
3. Runaway Steam-Kin and Hazoret's Monument trigger.
4. Resolve the Runaway Steam-Kin trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
5. Resolve the Hazoret's Monument trigger, allowing you to loot.
6. Repeat two additional times.
7. Activate Runaway Steam-Kin by removing three +1/+1 counters from it, adding .
8. Repeat.

This engine relies on Squee, the Immortal's unique ability to be repeatedly cast straight from the graveyard after being sacrificed to Skirk Prospector for red mana. As you recast your goblin repeatedly, Runaway Steam-Kin tracks those red spell casts to stack up +1/+1 counters that can be cashed in for a burst of three red mana to keep the loop going. Meanwhile, Hazoret's Monument quietly reduces the casting cost of your red creature spells while letting you churn through your deck via its looting trigger.
