How it works

1. Activate Skirk Prospector by sacrificing it.
2. When Skirk Prospector dies, Mortuary and Fleshtaker trigger.
3. Resolve the Fleshtaker trigger, causing you to gain 1 life and scry 1.
4. Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting Skirk Prospector from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
5. Cast Skirk Prospector from the top of your library by paying 1 life.
6. Repeat.

This clever loop puts your graveyard right back where you need it using Mortuary, which places Skirk Prospector on top of your library every time it dies. Thanks to Bolas's Citadel, you can bypass traditional mana costs entirely by casting that same Skirk Prospector straight off the top of your library for a mere 1 life instead of {R}. Meanwhile, Fleshtaker provides a convenient outlet to smooth out your draws with repeated scry triggers and incremental lifegain, padding your life total to safely sustain the Citadel's life-payment costs. The result is an endless cascade of red mana, death triggers, and storm count that easily overwhelms your opponents.
