How it works

  1. Cast Chancellor of the Forge by paying 4R manaR manaR mana.
  2. When Chancellor of the Forge enters the battlefield, it and Cloudstone Curio trigger.
  3. Resolve the Cloudstone Curio trigger, choosing to return nothing to your hand from the battlefield.
  4. Resolve the Chancellor of the Forge trigger, creating a number of 1/1 Phyrexian Goblin creature tokens with haste equal to the number of creatures you control.
  5. When the Phyrexian Goblins enter the battlefield, Cloudstone Curio triggers that many times.
  6. Resolve the first Cloudstone Curio trigger, returning Chancellor of the Forge to your hand from the battlefield.
  7. Resolve all remaining Cloudstone Curio triggers, choosing to return nothing to your hand from the battlefield.
  8. Activate Skirk Prospector seven times by sacrificing seven Phyrexian Goblins, adding seven R mana.
  9. Repeat.
  10. If you control at least seven creatures when Chancellor of the Forge enters the battlefield, this combo will net infinite red mana.
