How it works

1. Activate Skirk Prospector by sacrificing it.
2. When Skirk Prospector dies, Mortuary and Relic Vial trigger.
3. Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting Skirk Prospector from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
4. Resolve the Relic Vial trigger, causing you to gain 1 life and each opponent to lose 1 life.
5. Cast Skirk Prospector from the top of your library by paying 1 life.
6. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Skirk Prospector into an endless engine of sacrifice and rebirth by exploiting the clever top-of-library placement from Mortuary whenever a creature hits the graveyard. While Skirk Prospector funds its own recurring mana cost by being fed to itself, Gwenom, Remorseless provides the crucial alternate payment method—allowing you to cast that sacrificed Goblin directly from the top of your library by paying life instead of mana. Finally, Relic Vial acts as both your win condition and card-draw utility, draining your opponents' life totals and gaining you life with every single death as long as a Cleric is present, seamlessly offsetting the life you pay to Gwenom while you grind through your deck.
